Fluffy Drop Scones Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Self-rising flour - 250g
  • Caster sugar -50g
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 2 Large eggs
  • ¼ litre Whole milk
  • Melted butter
  • Optional: ½ tsp Vanilla extract or a handful of raisins

Equipment

  • 2 bowls
  • 1 frying pan
  • 1 large spoon

Method
 

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, and salt together in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk carefully
  3. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until thebatter is smooth and thick.
  4. Grease a frying pan with a little butter and set it over medium-lowheat.
  5. Use a large spoon to put the batter onto the pan in small circle or ovalshapes.
  6. Once bubbles appear, flip the scones over
  7. Cook the other side for 1 minute until golden.
