AVOCADO TOAST RECIPE

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of bread white, brown, or whole wheat
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice optional
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter optional
  • Optional toppings choose what you like:
  • Tomato slices
  • Fried or boiled egg
  • Chili flakes
  • Onion slices
  • Cheese

Method
 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crispy.
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the seed, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  3. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and lemon/lime juice and mix well.
  5. Spread the avocado mixture evenly on the toasted bread.
  6. Add any toppings you like and drizzle with olive oil or butter if desired.
